Tailored Training: Programs and Objectives
The initiative includes over 120 hours of training delivered through specialized modules, engaging 260 employees from different business areas and guiding them on a path of continuous growth. The program covers key operational and strategic areas of the organization:

Change Management Excellence: effective management of organizational change, with a focus on governance and internal communication.
Time & Methods: optimization of production cycles, performance analysis, and waste reduction based on Lean principles.
Project Management: structured introduction to project management principles, roles, responsibilities, and planning tools.
Data Analytics & Excel: advanced data use, Power BI, and tools for quality evaluation and maintenance.
Leadership and Soft Skills: development of managerial roles, relational skills, team motivation, and organizational climate management.
Problem Solving: analytical and creative approaches to problem resolution, with techniques such as the 8D method and Lean Six Sigma.
Production and Procurement Planning: advanced tools for operations control, scheduling, and supplier negotiation.

The company from Cattolica is expanding starting from its historic headquarters. CEO Pettinari: “A strategic choice to enable further growth.”

The first phase of the new FOM plant has been completed, which will be connected to the historic site in Cattolica: the total area of the company thus increases from the current 20,000 sqm to about 40,000 sqm. “The relocation of the first production departments has already begun in recent months, and will be completed by the early months of 2026,” the company explains. “Despite the unfavorable international climate, marked by ongoing conflicts and tariff wars, the FOM project moves forward more determined than ever.”

Founded in 1972 by Gianfranco Pettinari, Franco Sparaventi, Nello Andreani, and Lorenzo Paci, FOM is now a global leader in the market for machinery and systems for cutting and processing aluminum profiles. Group CEO Alessandro Pettinari proudly comments on the recent results as “the fruit of constant work, many sacrifices, and the passion shown by a management team with trusted and proven experience, professionalism, and competence. With the opening of the new spaces,” Pettinari continues, “we will certainly be able to improve our policies of streamlining and increasing production efficiency, also through new acquisitions. We are closely monitoring global developments, but FOM is a solid and robust company, and it will certainly be able to face daily challenges in the best possible way, as it has done for over 50 years.”

Since its founding in 1972, the company has experienced constant growth, reaching 800 employees today, around 400 of whom are based in Via Mercadante. This number could grow even further in the near future. “This is a long-planned intervention that sees us playing a leading role and fits within a municipal project for the general expansion of the industrial area,” confirms Alessandro Pettinari, General Director of Fom Industrie. “This doubling of our facilities is also a significant architectural achievement.”

Completion of the First Phase of Fom’s New Facility: Production Space in Cattolica Doubles from 20,000 to 40,000 Square Meters

The first phase of Fom’s new facility has been completed. The new building will be physically connected to the company’s historic headquarters in Cattolica, effectively doubling the total production space from the current 20,000 square meters to approximately 40,000 square meters. This significant expansion marks another step forward in the company’s ongoing growth and transformation.

The relocation of the first production departments began several months ago and will be completed by the early months of 2026. This initiative represents not only a major infrastructural expansion but also a deep evolution of the operational structure, driven by a clear strategic vision and a renewed organizational model.

Together for a common goal

The support from the Crisalide Association, the Il Punto Rosa Association, and the local Lions Clubs has been renewed. Together with Fom Industrie, they donated a new Siemens ultrasound machine to the Oncology Prevention Center of Rimini-Cattolica-Novafeltria.

Indeed, on the morning of Thursday, July 11, a ceremony was held to thank for the donation of the equipment, which will be installed in the breast clinic of Cattolica.
